WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...
Where Am I Going?
The Kingsmills Hotel on Friday, 2 February 2018
When Should I Turn Up?
The evening starts at 6.45p.m with a pre-dinner cocktail reception, sponsored by Diageo. Guests will be called to their seats prompt at 7.15p.m.
How Do I Get There?
I’d book a taxi. Inverness Taxis 01463 222 222 Remember there is NO free bus for guests this year.
Anyone Interesting Going?
You will be joined by about 270 journalists, PR managers, politicians, leaders of public and private bodies and their guests.
Will People be Dressing Up?
The ball is a black tie event, so the proper attire is dinner suits/kilts for men, evening/cocktail wear for women.
Is it Expensive?
Your ticket price has been maintained at a ridiculously low level for many years. It includes the reception, a three-course meal and a ceilidh. Hopefully this will allow you to spend freely at our charity raffle, tombola and casino.
I Want to Make Sure I’ve got Alcohol at the Table. Can I Order It In Advance?
Yes, you will have been sent a pre-dinner drinks form to return to the hotel. Or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Will Someone Tell Me When It’s Time To Go Home?
No doubt. Around 1a.m. when the ball is due to end.
